my academic elictive class!

I really like a , lot this elective. Its very fun, we do fun things like write about we want. But i hate the little papers, i dont know why, they are so bored.. so many rules. But i really like the class. Is not bored at all, i like computers a lot, and this class was one of my favorites, its fun, interesting, and not bored at all.

summer vacation

Probaly ill go to Bogota only in my Vacations, with my family. Im going to do a lot of things! It will be very fun. I have never go to Bogota, so i am going to enjoy this trip a lot, doing most of the things i can. See all the city with my family. I am going to go with them. So finally, my perfect Vacation will be in the best city or country i will like, and with the best places i could go and visit. I will like to to have my perfect vacations in, new york. I think its a amazing place. With a great climax, and nice people and places! to meet. It will be so cool be there with my family. But im going place to p-lace. So ill need to wait.

6th Grade

This year is 6th Grade was cool. It wasent soo hard as i expect, but is wasent too so fun. For me is normal, like mostly of the years. The best things i liked this year was the party of birthay of MS.Foster. We ate and dance a lot. Another party i liked it was a party we do in religion. So cool, as the same as in MS.Fosters party. I liked that two things in 6th Grade the most. The least things i didnt like was the final exams. We needed to study, work, and keep studying all day. I didnt like that much. It was boring... to all people. In 6th Grade i learn the new things like lockers, final exams, hard stuff, and a little bit more. Some memorable moments were the two partys we did, the best things we had. Also the good students i talk and i became more friend. Thats also a memorable moments too. I think 7th grade will be harder like all higher classes. But it will be not be the worst class. Now im mature in the way i talk and i express to people. I have now a different way to talk now. more social with people and inteligent too. Im going to improve my behavior, i need to be a good child during class.. hehe. Thats all what u need to know about my 6th grade year, and what will be beter in the future.

My favorte things

I have a lot of favorite things. Im gonna write almost allof them. My favorite book has been, number the stars. I read it in 5 grade, with my class and teacher. It was so cool. It was about of the german soldiers, against jewish people. I liked because of the action it have. My favorite movie is, Paranoia. It was a movie i see in the theater, with one cousin, as you know hes name is Moises Gossain. The movie was of action,and scary a little too. It was so cool. I liked a lot. My favorite website is of,my favorite team. atletico nacional. its page is, http://www.atlnacional.com/. I really dont have best,best friends. All people in my class are my favorites friends. Oh and the people i know too. My favorite pets are dogs, ilike them alot, i also have one. Hes name is jack. hehe. Umm, and my favorite places,are MCdonals, centro, club cartagena, and my house. I like a lot MCdonalds because,is my favorite place to eat food. Its delicious,i liked a lot! The centro because you can do many things, and is the prehistoric city, Is also beautiful. The club cartagena,is very cool! I alaways go there the fridays to play soccer,and eat. For last my house, because i live there, and i liked as my home. Is fun. I also could do many things. Like see tv. Play video games. Play in the computer, and play also in the patio, of my house. I have many favorite things!

homework

The author, that was the girl of 14 years old have all the reason. The teen agers relly need there time to do what they relly want to do. Obiously dedicate sometime to there homework, because is good for you, and helps you in the school too. But that for her doesnt mean, that they need to give them a lot of homework! Because all that homework that the teachers put them in a higher grade, wouldnt let them do there sports, games, go with there friends to any other parts. It really affects teens agers lives. They will be estresed the girl said.



What i think of this, is that i really say the same. Is too much homework for the teen agers. For me is a very bad thing for all of us, students that pass like 7 or 8, even 9 hours in school, working, and also doing remedials after school. We also do classworks, an the next day we are at 7 AM! and we awake at 6!!! the same for teachers, but i think we really need to do more work an less time. The teachers dont have an exact time for give the exams, quizes, homeworks, etc. I think they will need to give us lees homeworks for the teen agers, because we will be crazy with all that work wi need to do. Its for us have more time to get out of the house, or do something cool with our friends and play more sports. Give us our time. Thats my opinion for the homeworks. They will need be less, not many. A less amount for we only practice.



I oviously agree with the subject the girl talks about. Its really important what she thinks. I also think like that. The homeworks need to be less for the teen agers go out, and have there time with there friends.



I dont disagree in absolutly nothing. All what she wrote, is what i think so and what is true.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Im, Guillermo Duran. This past quarter, i have do good things in the school. My grades are all up 70%. Most of them are in 80 and up. I only got one in 71! hehe. It was math, im relly not good at that subject. Other subject i really didnt did good at all!, was spanish. I think the teacher is cool, but her class is boring and very dificult!!! I get a really bad grade in spanish, i think also it was the worst grade in all class. I dont want even to tell the grade of spanish.

In the subjects i do good were: social studies: 83%
science: 79%
Math: 71%, as you alredy know.
English:84%
Sociales de colombia: 83%
This are the grades i know for now, and the ones that are okey: good.
The only one i do bad at all!, was spanish as you know is spanish.

I have many favorite Websites, i liked a lot. But the most three favorite Websites i liked are 1. http://www.atlnacional.com/ Because is my favorite team of soccer in colombia and in the world. Its just the best team! This team is from medellin and have a beautifull estadium. Atletico Nacional, plays very good, and almost all the games win it. Not all the games. but it have more good moments than bad moments. It talkes about of all the soccer games they had played.I recommend it Beacause it is really the best team ever!





Other website i like is http://www.facebook.com/ Because it have photos, games to play, and even comments from people! Is very cool.I think that is a very good website with all what it have. i like it.i recommend it because it have of all things to do.



Another website is the one of http://www.hotmail.com/ Because i love to see the emails funny that they send me. Other things that i like to do is to see all the websites they recomend me there. Or also to talk to other people, by sending them an Email.

Middle School Life

Beeng in middle school, is really hard. I am alaways tired the afternoons, and i still need to do a lot of homework. The first day at school being in middleschool was strange to me. First was easy. Like alaways. We started to talk as a class. Some hours later i was very hungry! I was very used to, from the recess of elementary. I had 5 years in elementary. the recess was from 9:05 to 9:30. Middle school is very different from elementary. Middle school is more hard, primary is obiously more easy and fun! But each grade is more hard, each time. But i am good in my 6 grade class!

HI! my name is guillermo duran. I am a boy, with long black hair. My eyes are brown, and my skin is color white. I like to play soccer and tennis a lot. Especially soccer is the one i most like! I liked to play soccer and to watch soccer. Especially my favorite team named atletico nacional from colombia. I like to play other sports, but they are not so favorite as the two i most like. tennis and soccer. I am good in that sports. I am funny when i am in the class, i started to do silly things.hahaha.
